It's a basic cable. I use it for charging, haven't tried it for synch, but I assume it will work fine. Worth the money, considering all of the iGouge accessory makers out there...

Cable is fine, but due to the constrictive opening of my Otterbox cover, the plug end to my I-phone does not work unless I take the phone out of my case. I swapped for an Apple brand cable with my wife and all is good now.
