On my first project where I used this product, I broke all of the little drill bits. I assume they are made from an inferior alloy metal. I broke three in a row. My vote is save your money and buy something a little more expensive and that will last. I am a little more than frustrated with Black and Decker.

I have a drill that does not have a speed setting. I was drilling some pine with these. and they worked for a while. Then, the one I used the most broke off while drilling through old wood. Disappointed, I started drilling on a different project, and that one broke, too. I cannot recommend these, and will go and buy the DeWalt brand.

My expectations for these bits weren't very high, but they still managed to leave me somewhat disappointed. I broke one of the smaller bits nearly effortlessly right off the bat. The holder isn't spectacular either. For the effort it takes to put the bits into it, you'd think they would be pretty secure, but they're not.

You get what you pay for though. They do the job, and for the price you could do worse.

This drill bit wobbles and was manufactured without any commitment to quality and craftsmanship. This is an embarrassing product for the brand name. One drill bit got broken too. If you want a disposable product this is it.

I was drilling pilot holes for some screws and I managed to snap 3 of these drill bits off into the 1/4 inch holes. By the third one, it was obviously no longer my technique. The two largest ones are the only ones that I've used without breaking. I could probably snap the smallest one with a hair. Buy a single good drill bit instead.

These drill bits are actually really great and easy to use. I was afraid of the cheap construction based on some reviews, but they work perfectly well for me. I bought these drill bits strictly for home construction, mainly drilling holes into drywall for mounting purposes. I used them mounting one large book shelf and a slim media tower to the wall with ease. These bits are also compatible with a Skil driver, connected easily, I'm assuming they're pretty much universal with most if not all drivers. The package indicates it will work with wood, plastic, and metal. I don't plan on using these bits on plastic or metal and can't comment on the durability of these materials. But its perfect for drywall and wood. The bits also come connected to a plastic organizer with size/hole indicator. Unfortunately, I wouldn't put these as is in my tool box as the bits could easily be damage if your box is rattled around and things are bouncing around each other. I have them in a plastic case to ensure security and sharpness. If your main purpose for purchasing drill bits is for use with drywall and wood I would completely recommend this product especially since its at such a great price point!

Invited to write a review of drill bits. Well, why not. There are ten of them. They fit into a little rubbery container so you can keep them organized in your toolbox. Actually, I like that part. The original drill bits that came with my drill live in a hard plastic case where you have to snap them in and out longwise with a great deal of force, and the sharp edges on the cutting portion don't make that fun. So the rubbery part is a nice feature. But really, it's a cheap set of 10 drill bits, not a lot to say.

They do feel rather cheap in design and weight.
I haven't gotten to use them much but I would recommend keeping them for low end use, simple tasks. Take it slow, not to much pressure they will break.
But more importantly you should know these will not fit on the Black & Decker LI2000 3.6-Volt 3-Position Rechargeable Screwdriver because the ends on the bits are not hex shaped. You'll need a special adapter for that.
Just something you should note if you see both of the items in the 'frequently brought together' section because chances are they really weren't.

I have not gotten a ton of use out of these bits so far, but I will be sure to update this review if I have any problems with the longevity of this product.

As it stands these drill bits work perfectly. It is a nice compact set that will help you with any small hole drilling needs you have. The bit holder is simple, yet effective, which is great when it comes to tools.

What you see is exactly what you get with this product, so if you needs a drill bit set like this for small holes, then this is your best bet!

These are good, can drill through cement, wood, and stucco too but I would not recommend them if your going to be doing that, I am not sure if that's what they are even for. The drill would slip when I was trying to drill through stucco and concrete, I need to use a wrench to tighten it enough so they wouldn't slip, get a hex shank drill bit instead!
