I bought this at the same time I purchased my Black and Decker Drill. The quick release system works well, but only with the included bits of course. The adapter piece sits securely in the drill and allows for quick swapping of the different included bits (which there are plenty).

The bits are of good quality and this is a great set to have around the house.

I bought these bits because I was replacing a friends decking and I wanted a new set. The quick connect appealed to me because with the decking, I needed to change between drilling and screwing repeatedly. The quick connect system was great for this.

However, the smaller drill bits all broke after about 30 holes drilled. The quick connect at the base of the smaller drill bits makes them pretty weak and the drill bit sits quite a ways out from the drill chuck because of the quick connect set which puts them under extra tension. And both the P2 drill bits broke after about 50 screws each. They just sheered off at the top.

Now I realise that doing decking is a pretty intense job (I drilled and screwed about 2000 holes) and I shouldn't have gone for a cheap set. I'm sure if you're just looking for a set to keep around the house for odd jobs here and there, they would be great.

I gave this to my husband for our new home. He has used it ever since, and occasionally I've used it. It great, and the power drill from the same company is awesome. Great purchase

These bits worked well with the small Black & Decker battery drill they sell on Amazon, the one that takes AA batteries. I was able to drill a hole in a guitar, and also drill a new bolt-lock into some metal on a door. The bits hold up and work well.

I've used this set for a couple of years now. All the bits seem to hold up just fine for the way I use them. Just bought the exact same set for my son who recently purchased a home and now needs his own set. Especially nice is the quick-connect adapter.

Works well. A lot easier than trying to tighted a collar or find a chuck key.It works well for me.

Very nice set in every which way! Need to procure several more sets for other locations use!!! Have procured two more sets for use in work area. Nice design!

I purchased this as a gift for a friend to replace his original set. He helped me remodel my kitchen, and in the process, several of the bits broke. Not sure if it was because of the material we were using it on, or the age of the set. He was happy to have another set either way. The quick connect chuck is extremely handy.

This great assortment of drill and screw bits is very handy; it's about as complete as you could wish. My only complaints is that I wish it had a couple of spare spaces in the case, and the case itself. The case is slim, but the material has an overwhelming chemical smell that anyone sensitive to odors will want to avoid it. Even attempts to air it out for a few days didn't help, and every time I open my toolbox the stench is overbearing.

It is the perfect addition the Black & Decker BD12PSK 12-Volt Smart Select Drill. I love the quick connect to put in and out the screws and drills. The pouch keep everything tidy.
