As a guy who presses off shirts maybe once every two weeks, I didn't really do much research for an iron. I picked the Black and Decker because I had good luck with their other irons and power drills (I have one from 1956 that runs perfectly!), so I got this solely on the name's reputation.

I was happy I did. This performs like a champ and seems to be exceptionally steamy. For the price you can't go wrong. It's also easy to use and heats up fast. The auto-shutoff is nice for people who are preoccupied with stuff other than ironing their clothes and may forget to hit that power button when they go to the laundry room in their dorm only to stop and talk to people for a half hour.
