It works great with it and it very versatile.

I use it primarily for removing small amounts of tile/grout, cutting the heads off nails and even cleaning up corner cuts and it works like a champ.

I bought this for my Craftsman 20 volt drill, same as Black and Decker ! Attachments fit perfectly and are less expensive than the Craftsman labeled attachments. Works perfect for the handyman or around the house type jobs.

I bought this along with several other Matrix attachments. I've used them all, and I love the matrix system!

This little tool is so useful. The times that I've used it, there was really no other power tool that could do the job. Short of getting a mallet and chisel, nothing else lets you cut as arbitrarily as this.

I recently moved into a house and had carpet installed. When I ripped up the old carpet, I found a lot of water damage to the sub floor. I used this in conjunction with a circular saw set to a shallow depth to remove the damaged subfloor with precision.

Highly recommend the matrix system.

The only reason I gave it a three star was because the one they sell does not come with extra parts to use "universal" oscillating tool blades. I would assume they do this so you have to buy the Black & Decker or Craftsman (yes, B&D makes Matrix or what ever it's called, FOR Craftsman/Sears).

I bought this "attachment" to use mainly to cut off broken PVC pipe (risers- 1-2" size). The wood/metal blade that came with the saw is working "okay" for my use. I have not purchased any other type of blades (I have seen blades that lists PVC as one of the items it cuts). So far, this attachment has worked for what I wanted to do.

I did notice when cutting, if one pushes too hard or gets bound up, the unit will vibrate your whole hand on the drill. Also, when cutting, if you don't cut straight, it will angle the cut, but you can control it by tilting the blade. I have figured out how to cut larger PVC- make a plunge cut, then run the blade on each side till it meets on the other side (takes practice not to dive the cut or cut up). Binding will cause the blade to "melt" the PVC.

So far, it has worked PERFECTLY for what I bought the tool for. I have not used it for anything like the online video's show (tile or dry wall, etc).

First I have to admit I never used one of these before and are still a little unsure if I'm even using it correctly. I am not by any means a professional, more of a DIY-er that will take on jobs that perhaps...I shouldn't; Just the same I'm very compatent and 90% of the time very pleased with the outcome of my "projects".

I got this attachment, and all the others as well, because the video showed that it may prove useful. The plunge it comes with says it cuts metal and wood. I tried using it to trim small sections of mis-mesured laminate wood planks on my living room floor (they were already laid down). Though it did work, it seemed to be a bit difficult to even get through the 10MM planks which leads me to believe this thing doesn't stand a chance on any metal. I later tried to use to saw off the petruding end of some screws I worked through a 2x4 and it failed miserably barely scratched the thing (this was something shown in the vid). Despite all that I still was going to give it a fair shake seening as to how I clearly don't know what even use this for. However, I decided that I should find some use with this thing as a scraper and to cut holes into sheet rock. I went to home depot and bought the scaper and another half circle shape cutting blade only to find out that it doesn't even fit into this attachment. Yes it does have a screw hole on the bottom that would allow for attachment of any brands blade but as the other reviewer mentions, it doesn't come with the necessary equipment to use that. This put me over the edge and this tool will now do nothing but collect dust.

I wouldn't reccomend this particular attachment.

Works great, but the package did not have the adapter plate, bolt and hex wrench. How can I get them?

I bought this as an addition to my Craftsman set. It works great with it and it very versatile.
I also bought one of the multiple blade/tool sets, so I have a tool for just about everything: cutting, trimming, sanding and a whole lot more. Just buy a new blade/tool if you need it to do something else. There are some good starter sets here on Amazon for $20-40.
I can't speak to long term reliability but mine has taken a beating in the time I have had it with heavy use without even a hint of hesitation.
This was not the first add on attachment I bought for my Matrix system, but I wish it had been. I use it almost as much as all the other attachment combined. If you have one of these sets, get this tool!

I am in love with the Matrix system. This oscillating tool is a strong addition to the collection. No, it will not do the same work that a heavy duty SonicCrafter will do. But, for light duty jobs and $30 bucks nothing comes close. I use it primarily for removing small amounts of tile/grout, cutting the heads off nails and even cleaning up corner cuts and it works like a champ.
