Compact yet powerful at 1500 watts, the Chill Buster quickly warms up rooms that are small- to medium-sized, or tempers them with just the fan setting. A good unit to have around pets or children, the heater comes with a number of built-in safety features. Two devices, a motion-detector and a tip-over switch, automatically shut the heater off if the unit is picked up, moved sideways, or knocked over. When set upright again, the unit automatically turns back on. The unit also shuts off automatically if the cord is damaged or if overheating occurs.

Oval-shaped with a stylish tilt, the Chill Buster features two stable feet, a cool-touch body, and soft-touch handle (that is free of natural rubber and latex, for those with allergies), which makes the unit easily carried and set in place on a table, shelf, desk, or floor. One particularly handy feature is the frost watch thermostat that turns the heater on when the ambient room temperature falls below 40 degrees F, thus preventing pipes from freezing. Two output settings, low and high, along with variable heat settings keep a room just right. This particular model does not show actual room temperature. The Chill Buster measures 11 by 12 by 6-1/2 inches, and is covered by a one-year warranty. --Ann Bieri

heater doesnt heat room up that good at all and the unit itself get too hot too fast 1/2 hour and turns off

When I first picked up this heater I had serious doubts due to its size. I already had a quartz heater and it was ok it brought the room to a cool in stead of freezing but with this one working along side it now the room is toasty the room is like 15' by 12' basement apart. So u can imagine how it was with out it aside from it being in the middle of the coldest winter in like 100 years.
