Just place the Bulls Eye at the desired height on your wall, then push in the hanging pin (included) through the open center. For smaller leveling projects the Bulls Eye transmits a 20-foot beam of light (10 feet in either direction). For larger leveling jobs, set up the target cones for a perfect 100-foot beam (50 feet in each direction).
