Spruce up your property’s curb appeal with help from the 6.9-gallon-per-hour Black & Decker BDPS600K two-speed quick-clean paint sprayer. As an airless sprayer, the BDPS600K delivers more power and faster speeds than high-volume low-pressure (HVLP) sprayers—and it can manage handling heavier paints and stains, including latex, when following the paint manufacturer’s recommendations for spraying and dilution rates. It can work up to five times faster than traditional brushes and rollers (when covering a 6-foot-by-40 foot fence). Ideal for painting patio furniture, window shutters, and storage sheds or staining decks and fences, the BDPS600K is equipped with color-coded nozzles to easily differentiate between spray patterns for a consistently smooth and even finish.
Décor decisions don’t end once you step outside. Thankfully, Black & Decker’s BDPS600K single-speed quick clean paint sprayer helps liven up your outdoor living spaces without the hassle of messy and time-consuming paint pans, brushes, and rollers.
Its 2.5-amp motor can handle thin, free-flowing paints and stains as well as heavier liquids like latex paint (although you should follow the paint manufacturer’s recommendations on the can for spraying and dilution rates). While you can spray directly from the paint or stain can with the BDPS600K, the 1.25-quart capacity easy-fill side-fill canister allows you to refill the sprayer without having to take it apart—just lay it on its side, unscrew the canister lid, pour in more stain or paint, screw the lid back on, and spray. The sprayer pick-up tube doesn’t come out of the canister, so there’s no dripping. An included pour-assist bucket aids in the transference of paint or stain from often unwieldy cans to the sprayer canister.
Black & Decker’s exclusive quick-clean system flushes out paint inside the BDPS600K without having to dismantle it with a simple turn of a dial. Rotate it from paint to clean, add water or cleaning solution to the quick-clean reservoir, and push the trigger. Cleansing liquid will then spray through the nozzle, clearing the way and preventing clogs after paint has dried during breaks in use. This system also permits you to save your paint or stain while you test your spray pattern with water. Once you’ve chosen your spray pattern of choice, rotate the dial back to paint and proceed. Plus, the quick-release function permits you to easily remove the front end of the sprayer to swiftly clean its internal components. Color-coded nozzles—green for a fan pattern and blue for a round-cone pattern—provide an easy and user-friendly means of distinguishing between spray patterns.
All of these features combine to improve the speed and quality of the finish so that you can spend less time painting or staining and more time enjoying your beautiful outdoor surroundings.
