I may have to re-hang pictures and shelves with this handy gadget to correct all the lopsided work I've done over the years. The Gecko Grip appears to be very nicely made, and feels sturdy. The grips slip just a bit but still is better than my old level. The stud finder is much less complicated than an expensive one I have, plus it's tucked away in the level for easy access. All in all I am very satisfied with Gecko Grip.

This level is two levels, a standard 2FT level and a standard 9" toolbox Torpedo level, in one compact package. The Torpedo level has an electronic stud finder in it that works easily and quite nicely. It slides in or out of one end of the 2FT level.

The 2FT level has non-slip rubber pads at each end to help it grip your wall once you have positioned and level the level on a wall. It has spring loaded slippery hard pads to ride on the wall without marking or marring it while you are positioning and leveling the level on the wall.

This is an accurate and compact handy level to have in your home for various projects such as mounting pictures, shelves, leveling appliances, curtain rods etc. The Stud Finder will find a stud to hang heavy pictures or shelves.

Very sturdy and well designed professional looking product. Highly recommend.

A level is an essential tool for many household projects and this 24" model from Black and Decker is a solid choice. It's long enough so that you can feel you're getting a good read on drapery rods or other items that may be fairly big, yet it's small enough that it isn't too unwieldy. Better still, it contains a pull out 9" level if you need a quick read on something small. Also included is a stud finder. This is a particularly thoughtful addition since stud finders and levels will very often be used in the same projects. Is it the finest stud finder on the market? No. But it does a solid job and helps add definite value to the purchase of this product. Finally, the rubber pads are a big help in holding the level steady against most surfaces and this can be a big help from time to time.

This is an easy product to recommend. It's solidly built and includes not only a very good level, but a serviceable stud finder. It's not going to impress many professional contractors, but is perfect for do it yourself projects around the house.

Seemed like a good deal - however flip it over and you get a different reading. one side reads level one side reads not level. Way Way off.

Bought this for a friends intended husband. He really loves it (after he found out what it was used for). It really is a very useful tool to have around the house to assist with hanging pictures or shelves etc.

One thing I did not like was the fact that this was considered a seasonal item. I could not find one locally and had to order it from Amazon and even then the selection was limited..really feel lucky that I was able to find it.

After a while the slideout starting sticking pretty bad and the vials emptied out (never had that happen before). It looks and feels a little junky too. I got it on a deal at about half the regular price, still feel it was a waste of money.

When I went to use the level to check my new counter tops it showed the counter tilted to one side. When I turned the level right to left, funny thing the tilt went the other way. The 24 inch part is worthless as a level. The smaller one seems OK. When I put the smaller one on top of the larger one I get two different readings on the bubbles, with the smaller one showing the counter is indeed level. My 30 days have expired so I guess I bought a 9 inch level and a colorful 24 inch Black & Decker paperweight. (I have a close up picture of the two levels showing the different bubble positions but no way to include it in this review.)

the level is great, looks great, but one of the glass tubes that holds the liquid was cracked in the mini level and the liquid leaked out.. the level and stud finder are awesome..
what a great price..

I ordered this and another B&D level, the BDSL10 (known as the "picture hanging level" by my wife). Ordered them both for my wife's Christmas stocking stuffers after she saw the commercials on TV and I realized that I would not have to go back and fill numerous "miss" holes with spackle. I loved the idea that this level had little non-slip, spring pads that help keep the level on the wall while you made your level marks. Also loved the idea that it had a stud finder/mini level attached that you can slide out and use. I received the 3-in-1 with a few weeks to spare but opened it find that one of the level "bubbles" had no fluid in it. This has been a cold winter, so I thought that maybe it was the weather so Amazon promptly accept my return and sent me another one. I got that one on Christmas Eve... and saw the same problem. Amazon did not have any more in stock so I had to return that one too and my wife only got one level in her stocking. I have since picked one up from a local hardware store and I can say that this is a cool level. It is well constructed and with a 2-foot length, it works well for use on small projects. The stud-finder is a compact design and works really well. I would recommend this to a friend.

Husband loves the versatility of this item. Got one for son, too. B & D name is a plus for sure.
