Ibought this for my brother who's an electrician. He needed a tape measure that would not be flimsy. He loves this. He has thanked me a number of times for it as it's helped him out a lot. It makes his job so much easier.

Its accuracy is poor. You will never know what the true distance is to the laser dot until you either use a tape measure or a true laser measurer. The thing picks up all sorts of obstacles near the path to the laser dot and so you almost never get the same measurement twice. For all I know it may work well outdoors to an unencumbered target, but indoors around clutter it stinks. Save your money for a true laser measurer.

This product is great for measuring rooms in a matter of minutes. It makes listing a home so much easier and quicker. Definitely recommend it!

Bought this for my mom who uses it for estimates for rentals. It quickly became a hit at her work place at the ease of use and several of her coworkers inquired on where to get it. However, it does miscalculate every now and then (estimating a 23 feet room as a 50 feet room) but that can be easily over come by double/triple checking the estimates (which is as easy as pressing a button). Great price as well

Actually I bought this one to my wife, which is architect. She loved it! Now the task of measuring has become easier. No more bending to take measures.

Fortunately I am not trying to get an "exact" measurment. For my purpose this works ok because I just want to get to the closest "foot". Sometimes I have to "measure" 3-4 times to feel confident that it is close.

I bought this item to help me save time and that is exctly what it does and I do not have to second measure. I do home inspections and radon mitigation and this tool helps me give a layout of the foundation. I also bought one for my girlfriend, she is a Real Estate agent.VERY HELPFUL !!!!

Perfect for measuring rooms to plan furniture. Simple to use, reasonably accurate, very convenient.
