Absolutely horrible,

I bought this blender in Target. I decided to wash it prior to use, so i started walking to the kitchen sink and the screws on the bottom literally started falling out. Those are the screws that hold the blade in place. I went online and looked up the issue - and all i saw was "Whenever you turn the blender on, the screw under the blender unscrews", "after 4 or 5 uses, the base fell apart!", "the base of the glass jar came completely undone, we tried to screw it all back together, but realized, each time we blended, it was coming undone on its own."
Do not buy this.

This Blender Is Garbage,

Got this as a Christmas present and was excited to use. First several attempts at making smoothies went well. The machine provides plenty of horse power and my smoothies and protein shakes came out great with no chunks of ice or fruit to be found. However, on the 5th or 6th attempt at making a shake I attached the jar to the stability interlock system and I felt it spin more than usual. I should have pulled the jar off immediately to check base but did not. Turning on the blender completely obliterated the blade assembly part.

What Junk - died after 8 days,

During the first week of our our relationship this blender had the annoying habit of shutting itself off after a minute or two. The only clue to its innermost feelings was the display of a mysterious symbol on its LED panel. After unplugging it, I could usually get the blender to power back on for a few minutes, and then the same thing would happen. Sadly, I will not have Mr. Blender to kick around anymore. Today, after an especially vigorous tahini-making session, the blender went into its usual coma, but this time I could not bring it back to life.

The blender looks very nice buts its dangerous to use. When you try to "unlock" the blender from it's platform, you never know if you're unlocking the blender OR unlocking the blender from its base and blade. It's very dangerous to use because you never know how it's going to unlock. Don't bother to purchase.

one star is a generous rating... if it were possible to give it a negative rating i would. Blender is just an overall piece of ish. bought it at target and it couldnt blend a peanut butter chocolate protein shake with some ice.

Dangerous, Broken. Avoid.,

Do not purchase this blender. The first time I tried to use it, it shot hot liquid and steam out of the top, burning my hand. It does not seal up top like every other blender in existence, making it virtually useless on a good day. As others have noted, it also comes undone from the base while blending, spilling all over the place - as I noticed the second time I tried to use it (immediately after). My dinner was ruined, my hand was burned, and this $40 POS goes right in the trash.

I bougth it, I used it and it broke down after a couple of weeks. As easy as it sounds, I also (as many others) bougth this blender from a Target store. Don't waste your time and money, it looks nice but believe me it's not worth it.
I wasn't that we use it to blend rocks or something... juices was all we used it for!!!

Do Not Waste Your Money, Worse blender Ever, what a reap-off,

Where do I even begin with these thing.I wish I had read the reviews, before buying these piece of crap.I unfortunately bought it too, and have a a combo of problems, like the base of the blender, its the most unsafe of it all, with the blade unscrewing after 3 to 4 times of use, and second the locking is never correct, I have set it and lock it to find out that the base simply spins and completely breaks the base that moves the blade, so now I have a loose blade with no base, and there are no replacement parts for it, I have called Black & Decker numerous times, and still they can't offer me a replacement part for it, but according to them its in process so I have to wait until who knows how long it'll take them to offer them. I got rid of my receipt and thrown the box away, and Target wants nothing to do with it Either!
What a dilemma seriously does anybody know how to file a for a mass recall? |
