............and it works very well. In fact, it outperforms my Bosch grinder, is quieter and I've had NO issue with static electricity causing the grounds to cling to anything! In fact, when I'm finished grinding I pour the grounds directly in to the filter in the coffee maker and it leaves no particles of coffee in the grinder at all! Great little item.

Awkward design, great for spilling everywhere,
The gray piece in front is part of the lid, which makes it awkward to handle. If you don't mind making a big mess, it's a very quiet machine, even if you manage to open it and grind beans.

I bought this for my mother, and so far have been very happy with it. It is very quiet and we have no problems getting whatever grind we desire. However we do not make espresso at home so I am not sure whether this grinder would do a fine enough grind for espresso, but for mom's drip coffeemaker it does just fine. It is small though, and for a really big pot I have to grind two batches. Despite it's size it seems very sturdy and I was so suprised at how quiet it was compared to my own Capresso Cool Grind or my Cuisinart burr mill. Unlike the previous reviewer I have had no static problems. All the coffee mills I have tried have some sort of static "cling", but not enough to cause me any problems. All in all a very decent blade grinder for the price.

Bought 1 of these @ Wally World almost 3 years ago & it is still going strong. I grind for a french press & they recommend coarse, this makes a nice coarse grind but you need to monitor when to stop. If you prefer a fine grind, this will also produce a fine grind just as well. I'm using a VERY oily espresso bean & there is a minor build-up inside afterwards, but you get used to how to wipe out the 1/4 of a teaspoon or so that get's caught up = not a problem. Other reviewers complain about the start button being attached to the lid.....I dunno why, I think it's a great design because you can't turn it on without the lid being on & that means the tips of my fingers are SAFE! :) I get a HUGE amount of compliments about my home brew and I smile knowing I use this inexpensive grinder when others think ya need a Burr I say :P them

This was given to me as a gift three years ago. I had always purchased ground coffee in the stores. When I was presented with this grinder, I will never buy ground coffee again.
This grinder works so well. The motor is strong, the noise volume is low, and it grinds the beans fast. I really like this item and it still works like a charm.

I picked this up at kmart more than three years ago and used it at least once a day all that time.(Even took it with me on vacations)
It took a bit of getting used to, checking the grind, pulsing if need be, turning it upside down and tapping it on the counter to knock all the grounds into the cup. I'd never had an electric grinder before, only my ancient hand grinder. I still feel like I've gotten kind of lazy. :) Anyway, I've been very happy with it. About a year and a half ago, the on/off switch broke off. I glued it on a couple of times but finally gave up. You know the wire sealer on coffee bags? I used one of those, folded, to make the grinder work. (I do something similar with my old Cuisinart food processor.) The machine works fine, but I decided to treat myself to a newer kind, from Mr. Coffee. It turned out to be more trouble than it was worth, and the automatic grind feature ground the same if I set it for press or espresso. Took it back after three days. Then I got a Hamilton Beach grinder and that thing is SO LOUD I took it back after using it only once. So, I'm back to using this old one, with it's coated wire on/off switch. One of these days I'll replace it, but not now. It's a good little machine.

I bought this grinder when I accidentally purchased whole beans. I have had bad results with it each time I used it. In fact, I was beginning to think that my coffee maker was not working properly - that it was having problems pumping the water through. But, with a little investigation, aka, I stopped using the grinder and switched back to already grounded coffee beans, I realized that it was the grinder's error, and my machine was just fine.
Each time I used the grinder, I tried to get my results to work properly. And, I've used it many, many times, having gone through a couple bags of coffee beans, but each time I use it, I end up with one of two results. First, the bean don't grind enough and the water has difficulty passing through the beans into the pot. Second, the beans are ground too finely, and the water has difficulty passing through into the pot. I have never been able to find the perfect consistency of the beans. I do not recommend this coffee grinder. Spend your money on something that will work properly.

This is the worst Coffee Grinder on the market. When it grinds it creates static charge that sticks to the coffee grounds. The grounds attach themselves to the lid of the grinder, then when you scrape them out they STICK TO YOUR HAND, OR A COFFEE BRUSH OR YOUR SHIRT OR THE COUNTER. It's terrible! In the end you will be covered with coffee! DON'T BUY IT!

Product apparently out of stock, but no effort made to inform me. I waited and waited and waited and finally contacted them, only to then finally be informed that it would not be in stock again for 8 weeks, they were so sorry. Meanwhile I had special coffee beans sitting there drying out, getting old. I should just have bought this at Bed Bath and Beyond where I saw it (right after I ordered it here) for the same price. I'm disgusted with this seller and would never consider doing business with them again. NO STARS!!
