I bought 5 tree house books from Amazon last year. The others are very inspirational, kid of like [...] who makes the worlds coolest treehouses. This book gives great instruction for the common man. Buy multiple books when planning your treehouse, but own this one before you build. b

Bought this book to get an idea of different ways to structure and stabilze not only a treehouse but any children's house. Good references and pictures.

This was the exact type of information I was seeking out before starting on a treehouse for our kids. We needed to know a few key elements in building and planning. Since trees grow in all sorts of shapes, widths and sizes- I needed to know how to plan for the basics in safety and building as we build organically as we go along. This book had great tips and included plans for tree houses and where to start. I liked how it always kept safety aspects in mind because this was the biggest concern when we started discussing our treehouse.

Book is just what I was looking for to help me design and build a treehouse for my grandsons. Good details and simple instructions on how to do different kinds of tree houses that will be same for them. Recommend it as a good book to help you get started.
