I returned this as soon as it came because the box said it was 4.8 volts, and B&D makes a 9.6 volt (albeit not a wet/dry) cordless handheld vaccuum. i wanted the most power i could get, and assumed it would be in the "deluxe" model. i decided to forget about the wet feature because after reading the instructions i learned that after vaccuuming wet spills you need to rinse the filter (sponge) and the collection bin each time. OK- for that much trouble give me a paper towel!

I liked the look of this new Dustbuster. So I ordered one and learned that it is all style and no substance. The suction is inadequate for even light duty jobs. And this vac is so loud it scares the dog. The hoover unit is quiet, powerful and feels better to use and hold.

That is what I am doing!

My first dustbuster has been doing double duty all over our house. But with a blended family (including 6 kids), I decided that a second one would be the perfect solution for on-the-spot cleanups where the spills are! It is so much more convenient than dragging out the big vaccuum cleaner - and it is light enough that my 8 year old uses it to clean her own spills (any parent KNOWS that is a big deal). Now - we will have a 1st floor AND second floor dustbuster. I need a third for my hubby's workshop - but for now, I think I just add that request to my "Wishlist".

This dustbuster has so much power compared to the older models! It is perfect for what i need it for - cleaning up 100 times a day after toddlers: cereal, sand, various crumbs, parmesan cheese, arts & crafts, things dragged in on shoes, etc. Picks up on floors or carpets. Incredible time saver - great baby shower gift - although it won't be appreciated until later on.

We have two of these time-saving Deluxe Dustbusters. One is kept in our garage for messes around the workshop table there and available for our cars. And one I keep in the laundry room for wet spills there, in the kitchen, and quick clean-ups in my crafts room--it zaps those 'lil scraps.

One of my favorite uses is having the teens do their stairs with the nifty crevice tool. It is amazing what they pick up out of that carpet material. Note: reminding them to replace it in the charger is not quite as simple, but important.

Easy to maintain with the two included filters, (which we clean about once a week;just shake out if dry, rinse off from wet spills), having a 2 year warranty, being convenient and time-saving---these powerful dirt dusters will be great additions without being budget busters.

I use my Wet/Dry Dustbuster mostly to clean the kitchen. Spilled powders, pasta, and crumbs are a snap. With this device I use fewer paper towels and less chemicals in the kitchen. Its also great for eliminating insects and spiders without spraying poisons into the air that my infant daughter breathes.

I had the older model , but I broke it somehow and received this one for christmas. I love it. The suction power is much better than the older model. I have two toddlers, so there is always something to clean up. As in an earlier review this is a noisy one, but again the suction power is much greater. I also like that you don't have to hold the button down,as in the earlier model.I highly reccomend this one.

This hand vac has quite good power, though a short duration of usage time. It is also very loud.

The problem with this is a year later, the battery can't hold a good charge for more than 2 - 3 minutes. The sponge has to be replaced every few months. (About [money amount] off auction sites).

Still, it's handy.. But it only holds less than a dixie cup full of liquid. If you try to suck to much then it overflows and causes a bigger mess.

A good buy.

Good vacuum but you cannot buy replacement filters anywhere! Update 2/05 vac died. only lasted a year.....
