I bought one of these about 3 months ago. Produced coffee as advertised. Then it started to leak water from the tube that brings hot water from the heating element to the drip head, back into the water reservoir...Great, it is under warranty. The warranty requires that I pay $7.50 shipping costs for a replacement. Renting one of these units for $7.50 each three months isn't a very attractive proposition. I think I'll move on to something better.

I ordered this coffeemaker for my husbands birthday because he had been talking about getting one for a few weeks. He didnt need a large coffeemaker though because its just him drinking the coffee so i thought this would be perfect. Especially with the travel mug it comes with! Its very fast and easy to use. It makes a nice hot cup of coffee in about 3 minutes and then he's on his way to work. He loves it and its exactly what I hoped for.

I've been using these makers for years.This coffee maker is perfect for a quick cup.Makes great coffee very quickly dispensing it into the cup you will be drinking it out of. Works great!!!!

This is great for the single cup coffee drinker household. I can brew one large cup whenever the mood strikes and I don't have to worry about being wasteful by brewing a whole pot. I had considered buying a small 5 cup coffee pot but was thrilled when I found this. It's perfect...Doesn't take up a bunch of counter space, coffee is fresh, hot and brews directly into the cup. (Which means no extra mugs to wash.) Plus it has a reusable filter! If you drink only one or two cups a day, then this is a great product!

I read the reviews before I ordered this and it is all that I need for my occasional hot drink....super easy to use and quick!

For a few years I have searched for a one cup coffee maker that makes good coffee. This is it I found it on Amazon; thanks Black and Decker. I take my cup with me to meetings, shopping, doing errands etc. The mug fits perfectly in the mug holder of my car. This will make a great gift.

Liked the coffeemaker a lot until on the sixth day instead of
hearing the coffee dripping it started to hum and smoke was streaming out of it. I unplugged it and once it cooled down checked to see if it still worked and it didn't. The motor must of burned out. Unfortunately I had just discarded the packaging so I couldn't return it. I considered it a lesson learned...you get what you pay for!

My B&D coffeemaker worked for 3 months then the switch stopped triggering the brew cycle. Fortunately, my partner is an aircraft mechanic who can fix anything, He opened up the coffeemaker and found a spring which had slipped off its attachment point. Once he re-hung the spring the coffeemaker worked again. However, after reading some other reviews I expect another failure in the future. But, if the switch is the problem, check the spring.

I have had this coffeemaker for 12 years and it's brewed tasty coffee this whole time! I make one cup of coffee a few days per week. As I am the only coffee drinker in my household, this is very convenient. It doesn't take up much counters space, if you want to leave it out. The mug is long gone, but all my standard coffee mugs fit in at the front just fine.

This product is a good over-all value and serves the purpose for which it is intended. The brewed liquid has a robust flavor and requires only about 1 1/2 scoops of coffee grounds. The only problem I experience is that it does not hold the entire 15 oz. of water as indicated - and all of the water does not automatically process before the unit shuts off. Thus, it is necessary to depress the "On" button 2 or 3 times to empty the water tank. The ***** features - that I like best are the easy use, easy cleaning of basket and the automatic shut-off. The stainless mug is DEFINITELY NOT submersible and serves only as an insulated carafe for a short period of time. I transfer the brewed coffee to my favorite coffee cup for consumption. This item replaced another Black & Decker one-cup coffeemaker that I used for 19 years. I do not expect this unit to last that long as things made in China are not the quality that I expect or would like.
