The Black & Decker Grand Openings can opener takes full-grown cans into account--whether it's family-size tomato sauce or imported espresso grounds. Standing 9-1/2 inches tall, the device has no problem handling large and tall cans. The easy-touch cutting assembly is comfortable to use, removes for cleaning, and features Black & Decker's power pierce cutter. Once in action, it advances automatically around the can and shuts off when the lid's removed. A magnetic lid catcher keeps lids from dropping into open cans. Extras on this model include a built-in bottle opener on the front of the machine and a pull-through knife sharpener on the back with two slots for long or short knives. Can't Opener,

The title is a more accurate description of this item. It worked fine for a short time then got noisier and had to be backed up with a hand operated opener. The knife sharpener is simply a fixed stone. The bottle opener must be operated by first tilting entire unit backward as it won't accommodate tall bottles. Cheap and ineffective.

I just bought this can opener, and couldn't be happier! It doesn't topple or wobble at all. It has an automatic shut off when the can is open (works wonderfully). And, it is a sleek black color, which goes great in my kitchen.If you are looking for a great deal, I think this is the one.

This is a cheap product...Not "inexpensive" It is very difficult to use: hard to get can open.
