This battery pack works well with the FireStorm 12-Volt drill. It provides plenty of power for most home improvement work and the charge will hold well during storage. I have had this stored away for over year and recently went to use it and it had plenty of power without recharging it. It also charges fairly quickly in a matter of a few hours.

This is a solid replacement battery for the firestorm. I had two, but they wouldn't hold a charge after a 4 years. This works great, remember to always run it down all the way before you recharge it!

We have B&D drivers that are non-firestorm and this battery fits fine. I noticed the correct battery without the "firestorm" writing on the side cost more so I went with this one instead. We use our screw drivers in light duty commercial use where they get used pretty much all day long every day intermittently. The B&D's do fine in this use unlike some of the no-name driver/batteries that die within a week or two. We're not ready to pay to upgrade to lithium. These relatively low-tech nicad bats are proven and have a long life span. Only slight gripe we have is the price is on the high side for a nicad pack of this capacity.

I've got a B&D portable 12V drill kit with changeable heads for finishing and sawing. The old battery and charger died, and I could not find batteries to fit my charger at the local stores. Found this battery at Amazon, and also read reviews about a charger that is sold at Target that can be left plugged in and won't overcharge, which is why the old batteries were dying. Got this battery and the Target charger (by B&D, multi-battery charger) and everything is working again!

Been searching for this for several years. I like the driver but the original battery and charger died, and I couldn't find another. Then Finally I found both on Amazon.com. Both are here and cherished and working well. Thanks. Great items. I think about you guys every time I use it. ray-g

I had trouble finding this battery for my drill, after looking at all our local stores and depots, I decided to check on line, Amamzon had the best price and I received it in a couple of days. The battery works just like a new one, with no problems.

This replaced a dead battery in my cordless drill. It works fine for small and medium jobs. It keeps a charge ok and is easy to swap out.

My much used FireStorm had burned out one of its original batteries and was working on making the second one toast as well. For under $30 this replacement got me drilling and screwing again! It holds a charge for ages and recharges quickly in my usual charger. For the price of a battery, I could fall in love again with my fast change drill/driver. I own a DeWalt and Bosch too but my FireStorm's versatility has me grabbing for it again and again since I spent the money on a replacement battery. So glad I didn't toss it in the trash!
