I had the 6.5 amp and used it everyday for a year and a half at a welding shop and decided it was time for a new one. It is only a few onces heavier and even the boss has started to like the long handle. It is better than my DeWalts and Makita grinders.

Wonderful Grinder.

Grinded wood and steel (cut and grind) for me with power and ease. Great tool I did moderate work. (5 star)

I hope someone gives a review for more heavy duty work. (I think it could do all day construction)

2. Great that u can reposition the handle (top or side)
3. and lock the tool on if needed

SAFETY
1. always wear safety glasses or sunglasses (something to protect your eyes)
2. cover your mouth and nose, tie a hanker-chief around your face or small towel. (dont breath the dust, you will feel sick!)

Great price, fast delivery, grinder is easy to handle and have already used it several times to grind down metal that in the past I would have ignored or tried to do by hand file or mini-air grinder. Makes short work of paint removal from anything with 36~50 grit fiber disks ... don't press down and keep moving or you will take off more then you wanted too.

Although it's kind of bulky , and can't be operated with one hand, it is very smooth running and has lots of torque when you need it. Excellent grinder for the price.
