4.0 out of 5 stars Not a professional drill, but good value for the money
I've had this drill for several years, and it's been a good one. It's not hugely powerful, and I'd prefer the battery held a charge longer, but it is sufficient for most small-scale projects around the house. It's great for things like hanging pictures or curtains, or some light duty drilling projects. I just finished assembling and hanging two bike rack pulley systems...

2.0 out of 5 stars Just crap. Save your money and buy something slightly better.
Bought one of these for a few projects. I realize that it is "economical" and not a professional caliber tool. However, this thing just doesn't have power nor does it keep a charge for long. I tried to drill a 1 inch hole in a 4x4 beam. I understand that a 1 inch hole takes a lot to get through, but the battery drained twice and I am still 1/2 inch shy of a hole. If...

I've had this drill for several years, and it's been a good one. It's not hugely powerful, and I'd prefer the battery held a charge longer, but it is sufficient for most small-scale projects around the house. It's great for things like hanging pictures or curtains, or some light duty drilling projects. I just finished assembling and hanging two bike rack pulley systems in my garage, which required drilling holes in the ceiling, attic joists, and mounting boards, as well as driving about 40-50 screws into hardwood. I had to pause once in the middle to charge it for a couple hours.

This is certainly not professional or high-end gear, but for a general household tool to handle small projects, this is a great drill for the money. The bag is a nice extra, too.

If you're planning on using this as your household drill, you'd better be the patient type. It's probably solid for driving screws or putting together furniture, but if you intend to use it for anything of substance, pick something else.
