Parts are the same as the original. Spool comes with the string and cover. The only part of the order I did not like was that I ordered 2 and received 1. Then had to contact the supplier to get the other one coming.

Great service second time I've used this company. They are fast and the product is exactly what I ordered. Pricing is great best in town.

Product was as shown, but did not provide enough information. It is a double feed spool and cannot be used on some of Black and Decker's AFS Grass Hog Trimmers. It cost me $2.56 in return postage to find this out. I have a HBP18-OPE which is a single feed battery powered unit

I ordered this part to have on hand. I bought a Black&Decker 20V Trimmer. I wanted to make sure I had this extra part so when I needed to replace it on the trimmer I would have it and not have to go run out and buy one. The part was the correct part made by B&D. Shipping was fast. Good company to do business with.

After looking through 8 different retail stores and trying to locate a black & decker dealer I finally found this item being sold through Amazon. If I had come here first I could have saved myself a great deal of time and wasted money in gas. Product was an exact match to what I needed.

I ordered the wrong size and called the company. They sent the right size immediately. Very happy with the service and product.

This spool cover does not fit the B & D Grasshog GH 1000 Type 2 weed eater. I purchased it in November, informed the seller that it didn't fit and had to wait several weeks for a note confirming that it didn't fit this model of GH 1000. By that time, I had misplaced the original receipt. I'd rate it 0 stars if that rating were available.

I thought of purchasing this replacement housing but can't get the original Auto feed housing off my GH 1000.
Yes, I removed the centre screw and pried on the unit!
Having the same problem as many other owners of this poorly designed product (Black & Decker GH 1000 Grass Trimmer).
Used very little...throws line out and chops it up.Yes I am using round line .08" .
**Is there a tap and go head that will fit this Model??

I looked at Home Depot where I bought the Grass Hog and several other hardware stores and no one stocked this item. I opened a browser, typed in "Grass Hog replacement parts" and bam, Amazon is the first search result. I had the spool kit ordered within minutes. Got the part within a few days and while it is slightly different from the original, it fit and functions perfectly. Way to go Amazon and their affiliate vendors.

No drama installing into the version of Black & Decker GH1000 that I own. Only three stars because I'm not hugely impressed with the GH1000.

A spare spool cover is nice to have around, but I have yet to break one. So, I mostly just get replacement spools.
