The vacuum that takes these replacements is the easiest vacuum to handle for quick jobs. It has a lot of power and the filters are so easy to change out. I would recommend the vacuum as well as the filters to anyone looking for a lightweight vacuum for those hard to get spots and light, every day jobs.

It was a bit hard to identify, as I ordered something else and had to return it. But when I finally got the correct filter, it worked well.

I have had my Black & Decker 800 watt handheld vacuum for several years. But it sat for a while until I could find a filter for it. It seemed hard because most places around town carried filters for other models. I took the chance to see if this one would fit my HV5000 model because it is not mentioned anywhere that it can but it does! It looks like the shape of the vacuum and filter have basically stayed the same in the later models.

Somehow we lost the original fileters for the vaccum, so it sat on shelf, unused, for a few years. Then I found the filters here. Took a good two weeks for them to arrive by regular order. The filter just barely fits in the dirt cavity. I don't remember it being that tight before, but you can close up the system and use it.

Great price for them, I saw them elwhere for $10 apiece plus shipping.

This replacement filter works exactly as specified, and provides precisely the characteristics required for this machine.

As in most instances of "replacement supply" type items, it appears to be WAY overpriced. But, since the alternative is to throw away the vacuum cleaner, you 'pays your money and takes your choice.'

It does work as advertised.

I looked up the DustBuster handvac I own that these filters are used for. It honestly must be the greatest household product known to man. First, it's CORDED, making it much more powerful than chargeable hand vacs. That's easily the srongest product attribute. The vac is also extremely easy to clean, you simply remove the front cover, dump out the dust, and replace the cover. Lastly, these filters are great because they last forever. When they get clogged with dust/dirt, you can actually easily take them out and clean/reuse them. I am still using the same set of four I purchased when I got the vac... and I have used it frequently for the past 4 years!!!

What can I say? These filters do what they are supposed to do and filter dust, etc. from the cleaner.
