DGSs daddy often works on his mountain bike and motorcycle, as well as doing repair around the house. DGS has been playing with a cheaper toy screwdriver and walks around the house shoving it into places and "fixing" them. My husband found a cheap soft tool case at Home Depot and DGS carries his tools around following daddy and "helping" him. He also has a beat up trike and a toy quad that never worked well, so he gets one of them and happily works on his "bike" along side daddy for up to about an hour.

The screws, bolts and nuts are good fine motor coordination play, and actually work well. The hammer, well, what little boy doesn't like banging with one and this one is absorbent enough not to really hurt anything.

This was a really good choice for my DGS. I recommend it for kids like him.

great price for what you get. not too durable but it comes with a ton of tools! My son loves it.

My son loves this stuff. I have to put some of the smaller pieces up for right now because he still sticks quite a bit in his mouth...but he loves that his power tools look just like daddy's!

Very life-like and very durable. These are great! My son is 4 1/2 and plays with these non-stop. He has not gotten bored with them and has found many different ways to "build" and "work on" things.

Tools were less expensive than ones I had seen in stores. My boys love them.

I got 2 sets of these toy tools for my 2& 3 year old boys. They both enjoy all the pieces very much. It's great for motor skills. I just need to keep a close eye on the boys if they are playing with the tools near the TV. I caught my youngest trying to hammer the screen.We have had these for a couple of weeks now & have 2 broken pieces (the tape measure & hammer). These toys keep my boys quite busy.
