I did not realize that this kettle must be unplugged when you are not actually boiling water. This is very inconvenient for us because of how our tiny kitchen is set up. Also, the footprint is pretty large.

I needed a way to heat water for cleaning vacant apartments. I used to use a hot plate and stock pot, but this is much more convenient.

The water heats quickly and is easily poured.

The compact size is also a plus.

We make a lot of soups and things that require a bit of boiling water. With a glass cook-top we've found boiling water to be a hassle. This little pot really answers the call for quick hot water. I wish we had purchased this long ago. It is efficient on the electricity (versus microwave). It heats the water without leaving a hot cook surface to heat the room. It is good looking. We like the shorter cord so it doesn't hang all over the place. It works reliably and has given us many hot puts of water.

We think it is well worth the price and highly recommend the product!
