I got this because it has a diamond-shaped foot that extends ~2" in front of the body, for access to some narrow spaces. It works well for this purpose, though it's not the best choice for a general purpose sander. The foot uses hook and loop sandpaper, I just cut out the diamond shapes rather than buying the pre-cut ones.

This was supposed to be a Christmas gift. We ordered on 12-9-05 and it still is not shipped. I will not buy things from this seller again! Loser
