Had one of these for almost a year until it was stolen..It trims with
little effort..If you have alot of trees it's a must have product..Easy to use,so much easier than my manual pole trimmer.doesn't wear you out.Not for the land scaper i guess but a good product for the home owner..By the way I have purchased another one,it did such a good job..The shipping was very fast!!

I knew from the get go that this wasnt going to be a "heavy duty/heavy use" pruner. I have several other BD products that use the 18 volt battery system. I used this for the first time in trimming several trees/branches and it worked great. Let the saw do the work, dont force it. I had no trouble going thru 4 inch limbs. Keep those baqtterys charged. I will use this mainly for occasional pruning around the yard, no heavy duty usage...im happy.

works great not heavy to work with because you do not have the motor at the end of the pole and no cord to drag around

I recently needed some trees trimmed and decided to hire an individual to do the job. He did a great job, but it cost alot of money to do so. I decided to go ahead and purchase this pole chain saw to keep up maintainance on what the individual did and I am glad I did. It is great. It reaches very high and I am a 5'6" 140 lb woman and can use it with ease. The assembly to use each time is easy, there is a picture on the pole to show you how to put it together if you can not figure it out yourself. I LOVE this thing!!

This product works great if used for it's intended purpose, smaller branches. I have cut branches up to 6 inches with it, love it. Only two complaints, tough to make the first cut from underneath as recommended and the pole would be better if it was more rigid.

Works very well. It is everything I want in a chainsaw: portability, high reach, enough power for tree branches. I have taken down major tree branches over 10 inches in diameter with this thing. The sharpness of the chain saw is holding up better than I expect. It is fairly easy to oil the chain thoroughly. I oil it after every 5 mins of usage to keep the chain last. You can use this pole saw to do anything that a smaller handheld chainsaw can do.

This tool has paid me back 10 fold. It's easy to use
cuts through 3-4" branches no problem and I've gone as thick as 6".
If you don't read the instructions or use it incorrectly you won't be
satisfied. When I first received it I didn't lubricate teh chain and adjusting the
tension was cumbersome. Then I went back and read instructions, lubricated the chain
with chain bar oil, adjusted the tension, made sure the battery was fully charged and I got a lot
of milage out of it. It doesn't come with this oil but you need it. If the chain hits the ground
it will dull. If you lean it on soild it will dull. All chain saw blades are like that.
1 inch branches that are reachable I use a lopper. for pruning trees and limps or
cutting up limbs that have fallen I use this. 6 inch limbs with a fully charged battery and lubricated chain'
shouldn't take more than a few minutes.
Pros - Lightweight, easy to assemble, long reach, gets into tight spaces. No gas or gas fumes. adequate for libms and trees up to 6", those 1 inch libms you can use a lopper this will cut thru 1-3 inch branches easy enough.
Cons - You have to manually lubricate the chain. During the breakin period adjusting the tension might be cumbersome for others. the battery will give you 30-45 mniutes but that's wasily remedied by having a spare battery.
Additional: This is not one of those prodessional gas powered high speed super pole saws you see the arborists using.
Its for those that have wan't to prune and not have to pay 2-300 dollars each time. I liked this so much I bought the pole hedger. It doesn't replace a lopper. Oh, the chain is easy to replace and I'm pretty clumsey. If the chain by some chnce hits teh dirt you'll need to change it but that's the case with all chain saw blades.

This is a great saws. Cuts very fast. Well built. Just what I needed to cut low limbs on my oak trees.Worth every penny in time and safety. No more getting on ladders with a saw. I do wish it was self oiling but no real problem.

Bought the bare tool because I already had enough batteries. I pruned a number of 4" limbs from a pecan tree.The tool performed flawless. The only con was that that the head blocked my view of the kerf while cutting.

This pole saw works exactly as advertised. I found it very easy to use and had no trouble cutting a large number of limbs on a charge. I usually run out of limbs before I run out of charge. It can be a little heavy with all extensions but not overwhelming.
