Great for thorough cleaning of any textured tile floor,

I waited impatiently for this product's release and was not disappointed in it! Due to a knee problem I have difficulty in getting my kitchen floor absolutely clean using the typical spray-and-wipe tools such as the Chlorox Ready-Mop (which I had been using). Those work fine on a smooth surface but can't really get into any lower spots (like grout lines or lower areas in a textured-surface tile) very well. I'd often wished for something like the Black & Decker ScumBuster tool but with a long handle so that it could be used standing up. Well, this new product is exactly that, with the bonus of the onboard liquid dispenser and "mop-up" cloth right there as well. The bottle dispenser attaches instantly with a push-and-click, which is far easier than the setup on the Chlorox ReadyMop. The ability to use any cleanser (or even just hot water if that's your preference) and any mopping pad is yet another plus. My only question is why it took so long for any manufacturer to come up with a cleaning tool like this?!

I bought this mop when it first came out a few months ago. In retrospect I should have waited and read the reviews first. At first it worked fine but after only a few uses the spray bottle stopped spraying. I called Black and Decker customer service, but they were no help at all. They told me that there were problems with the mop and that I should take it to a local shop to have it fixed. Well, I don't have a lot of spare time, so I thought that I'd just use it without the attached sprayer. I used my own spray bottle. However, just after using the mop a few more times the whole thing completely broke apart. The brush broke off and the mop wouldn't fold back into it's normal position. At that point I was so fed up with the mop and Black and Decker customer service that I just tossed it in the trash. The company itself has acknowledged that there are problems with this mop. It's a shoddy piece of junk and should be taken off the market.

B&D Power Mop,

I thought this mop was not too bad to put together. I think that it is easy to use, with the exception that the sprayer is not powered. This is the BEST cleaning mop I have used though. Not sure what they have going on with those pads, but it cleans ten times better than Swiffer and even a regular mop head. My floor hasnt come this clean since I laid it down. The problem is finding replacement pads. NO stores carry them. I called B&D and they advised that they have been on back order from their overseas vendor and that I would need to order on-line or through my local B&D service center. I did place an order for 5 boxes ($[...] per box of 10) and will hopefully get it within a weeks time. They say to take Swiffer pads and wrap them around the mop.....oiy! Who wants to fight with that. I will just wait for my pads, using my Swiffer mop in the mean time.
