As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. For those who only plan to use the bow saw or folding saw occasionally, these might serve the purpose.

The folding saw has a smooth release button and the blade stays in place when in the closed position.

With the bow saw I have a hard time keeping the blade straight and tight. The blade tightens with the turn of a wing nut. I like the grip on the bow saw and find it comfortable.

On both saws the blades are sharp, but the cutting motion isn't as smooth as I would like.
