This chain replaces the chain for the Black & Decker Alligator. We like the saw really well and like to keep an extra chain on hand. Nice product Black & Decker!

I have had to replace my chain once so far and found it impossible to find them locally. Some online prices and availability are OK but the shipping really dings you. I found one online hardware site that had reasonable shipping plus a decent discount so I bought two replacements there. My original chain's life was shortened somewhat by letting someone else borrow the Alligator (they got some dirt in the chain by cutting too close to the ground) as well as my cutting of some trees that were in excess of 6" in diameter. I have no real complaints about the quality just the price and availability. I still think the Alligator is a fantastic tool.

We have an 18" (carbide chain) and a 24" Bar (skip tooth) Stihl chain saw, which are both highly rated. However, I bought a cordless alligator lopper for my wife's usage and the 'small stuff.' It works well within its parameters--so well, I bought another. It's nice to see chips fly, rather than sawdust. There are many nice little things about the Alligator Lopper--but next to impossible to find someone who sells the saw chains. Sourcing through Amazon was easy--with a great price and very acceptable delivery time (a little planning ahead never hurts). I rarely give 5 stars; 5 stars would have meant that a hand came out of my computer screen and handed me the saw chain as I was ordering online!

The B & D Alligator Lopper is one of the handiest items I've used. I'm female, and very afraid of regular chain saws because they don't have blade protectors. This chainsaw has a short bar and short chain, is fully protected and it's really great for trimming up branches up to 4" in diameter. Don't let the small size fool you - it's very sturdy and powerful. I live on a farm and have lots of trees to trim up. Replacement chains are very affordable. Great buy and Great product!

It is a good idea to have extra 6-inch replacement saw chain in your box. Number one, no body sale's the replacement chain RC600. Number 2, if your lucky a chain store well make one that sale's chain saw's. If you do find a RC600 replacement on the internate.Amazon has the best price going.GOOD LUCK.

Delivered in a timely fashion

When I'd bought the loppers for my husband, he scoffed at how useful they could possibly be. Not long after that, the first opportunity to use them presented itself. He was wowed! So much so that he insisted that we buy an extra chain for it as he didn't want to be caught short without one when he desperately needed it. We have used the loppers for yard clean up when storms knock branches down as well as 'lifting' trees. Great product!

This is just a GREAT Gadget! Cuts up the wood for the fireplace quicly and safely! SO, I'm a 68 year old woman, and I really do not have any experience with chain saws, and I was a bit afraid when I started out. This thing is great! I can cut up wood as fast as anyone, and it does not move around when cutting thanks to the design. Just grab and cut! Thanks, Black and Decker!

Chain saws were the only option until the alligator.
once you use one of these you will be amazed.

My chain was damaged (my bad) and this chain is the replacement. They are impossible to find locally. And Amazon's price and delivery time is right. As almost everyone else, I can't write a review on the chain without praising the lopper. It's a shame this product didn't take off. I am a petite woman who has a lot of trimming chores. The lopper has made my life much easier and I haven't lost any fingers yet.
