This is what happens when engineering gets it right. Works good, small, light weight, plenty of power. I trimmed 4 full size shrubs in just a few minutes, should have ditched the manual shears years ago. Excellent value. Get one, you'll like it.

It's light and easy to use. Anyone can work it. The safety of the trimmer is first class.

Solidly built (looks different from the picture), so easy to use and quick, and very inexpensive for the quality it is.

Recently ordered this downsized trimmer. Deliberately chose the smaller hedge trimmer so my wife could handle it easier since her hands are much smaller than mine. Any way being lighter I was able to do more work because I wasn't arm weary from holding up some bigger and heavier trimmer. I am an out of shape ole geezer whose seen better days so a tool that is not only lighter but does the job well was fantastic. So far I really am glad I bought the trimmer and with the 25.00 gift certificate given to me by Amazon, I think I paid 16.00 for this trimmer which included shipping. Pretty happy so far with this trimmer.

This product was just perfect for the small jobs I have to do. Cut through my hedges like butter.

Bought several years ago as I needed a tough, short, electric trimmer to cut a bunch (actually too many bunches) of an annual border planting at ground level, that consisted of very densely bladed straw type plants the builder had put in. Could not do with a hand trimmer. Took forever, and hands cramped for days. Cordless trimmers just did NOT have the power. The B&D TR1400-16 inch Hedge did the job. Have used for 3-4 seasons now, and am very happy with it. Wife also uses to trim hedges and bushes. Just the right size and the right power!!

Works great for me. Have used it only once since I brought, but was lightweight and easy to handle even for a beginner like me.

The 14 inch blade is the perfect size for trimming rounded shrubs. Most new trimmers have longer blades that are more useful for hedge rows, etc. A little more power would be helpful.

This product is very very good, its sharp and cut straight though bushes and hedges. It was a surprise how this great product works!!
