This review is from: Black & Decker TRO1000B Toaster Oven (Brushed Chrome Finish).
I found 3 problems with this toaster oven right away.
1. I put the dial on the darkest setting and the bread is not fully toasted at the end of the cycle. It's barely light brown at that point. You have to hit the button for a 2nd cycle, although you only need maybe less than 30 seconds. 2. During the first cycle, it starts emitting steam thru the front of the unit (along the sides of the glass). 3. Unlike my old toaster oven from Black & Decker which I had for many many years, at the end of the cycle it doesn't "ring" to let you know the cycle is done. This means you have to stand there and watch for when it's done. Why did I throw out the box it came in right away, which is something I never usually do when I buy a new product?? Ughh. |
