Received this blender as a wedding gift 6 years ago and we use it almost every week and we have not had any problems. For us, this has been a great blender.

I have had this blender for about 3 years now and have used it very sparingly (1-2x per 6 months) for an occasional smoothie. Pulled it out of the cupboard today and when i pressed the button to blend all i got was a click. I am pretty sure the motor burnt out on it.... for a $60 blender i am pretty disappointed.... i had to use my friends Oster $20 blender as that one has still been kicking for over 5 years.... all i must say is buyer beware!

The main frame flashes lights and pauses in every use.

The ice blade corroded after a few months of use.

I've had this blender for a year and it's very disappointing.

After a couple of months there was a persistent leak coming from the blade/o-ring area. I'd try time and time again to tighten it properly and it just didn't make a difference, the blender would leak more and more.

The blade barely cuts anything, don't attempt smoothies with this machine or you'll fry the motor.

1-year-later the blender is unusable. The blade is dull, and the blender leaks all over the counter before it's even turned on!

The motor is fine (again, except when smoothies/ice crushing is attempted) but really, I expect more from Black & Decker and you should too. Don't buy this P.O.S.

Motor burnt out on it after 3 days. Very dissapointed, now I have to go through the warranty process of getting a new one or getting my money back.
