Doesn't funtion the same as the manual says it should?
I read the instructions for charging before setting this up to go. The manual said the red lights would flash slowly when charging, they do not. It says the lights would glow steadily when charged, they glow steadily all the time? I called B&D and they said that if the unit is warm it's working? Hmmmm. Although the ad may imply two rechargeable power packs come with the charger, only one is included.

The batteries that came with the "2006 B&D WIZARD" rotery were pretty weak and didn't have a very long power durability.
The new charger and batteries are higher power and longer run time between charges and does not tend to loose charge when not in use for five to seven days or longer. IF YOU USE IT AND NEED IT , BUY IT...

I purchased this product after replacing what I thought was a dead battery.
When I got it home I realized that it was the charger, not the battery. I purchased this charger WITH a battery for less than the cost of the battery alone. Pretty good deal!
