Worthless junk! Broke in a just few uses...,
This review is from: Black & Decker Vacuum sealer, VS1300 (Kitchen)
I bough this for less than a third of Amazon's price at a discount outlet (Ollie's in MD) and is was not worth it even at that price! Both canisters broke after less than a half dozen uses each! Inferior junk!

Perfect for single people,
This review is from: Black & Decker Vacuum sealer, VS1300 (Kitchen)
As many people already know most food products are sold in "family" sized package. Living as a bachelor I was constantly throwing away stale dry goods such as various cereals, pastas, and coffee due to lack of use. Thinking of all the food, not to mention Money, that was being wasted I decided to search for a cost effective solution. I was given this product as a gift after mentioning my quest for freshness to several family members. After owning this product for a while I realized just how many different foods can be sealed around your home and used later. I have yet to get a "bad seal" from any of the canisters and have left items up to 3 weeks with out having the seal go "bad". I recommend these canisters to anyone who wants to keep their dry goods from going stale and wasting money

Unfortunately I also purchased this product and within a few uses I began getting cracks in all my containers.
Plastic is very thin and is very low quality, not what I had expected from Black & Decker. Both continers broke within a week, used only a couple of times... I would rate this product a ZERO if it would let me.
