20 years and still going strong!,

I bought one of these in 1986 (20 years ago!) as an emergency purchase while travelling, and it's still working like a champ. And I don't just use it for travel -- I often haul it out to do the regular ironing while at home. Amazingly, the design and construction of the current model are exactly the same today as they were then. Kudos to Black & Decker for having the good sense not to try and improve on an already perfect product!

This iron gets the job done and is very affordable. It has various functions and can handle quality shirts. I recommend this to anyone looking for an effective, affordable iron.

It was small enough to avoid flipping seams yet big enough to get the job done. Plus it didn't heat up the whole room. I hope I can find another one.
