There's not much to add to the review title. I needed to drill 1 inch holes in a marble table top to facilitate the routing of a couple of computer cables (ethernet, usb and audio cable). I shopped for a 1" grommet to finish off the hole. This one fit the bill nicely.

Can't beat the price, and it does what you buy a grommet to do.

I ordered 8 of these small desk grommets to route cords through my desktop and between the hutches that sit on both sides of my corner desk / workstation. Unfortunately, the 1" size is too small internally to allow most 120 V cord ends to pass through. It's O.K. for USB and cordless phone charger units, but that's about all. I ordered the same item in the 1 1/2" size from a different seller. Well, was I surprised to find that Poplar had charged me much more for the "shipping and handling" than the other seller. All of these little grommets (only 1" ... about the size of a quarter) were packed into one small package, yet Poplar charged $4.99 shipping and handling FOR EACH ONE! $3.99 for the plastic gizmo (already overpriced), plus $4.99 to pack and ship??? For EACH ONE??? I will not buy from this seller again. Bainbridge now sells the larger size in a 5 pack for $6.00 and a single shipping and handling fee.

Poplar either took advantage of the lack of competition or made a huge error conveniently in their favor. Either way, I suggest buying from other sellers. I did not check this small order before completing the purchase (dinner was getting cold...), but I will check all future orders!

I thought I reviewed this grommet already. Oh well, it came in a timely fashion and it fit perfect!!!
