I would highly recommend this staff. It's not only beautiful, but strong. My 12 year old son is working on his kids' black belt, and has the best looking staff in the group. He is tall so I had to get a taller `stick' then the others. This size works well for his structure, at 5'9'' and growing, it is sure to last him. The staff arrived before the scheduled time and at a great price.

I got this bo staff for my son when he achieved his black belt in Tang Soo Do 3 months ago. It arrived on time and in good condition. The staff is deep black with a golden dragon design on it. It's very eye-catching. He immediately loved it! He was very excited to use this bo staff during his black belt presentation ceremony. Since that time, he's taken it to class with him regularly. The staff seems lightweight and sturdy, and is easy for him to use. Plus, there are never any bo staff mix-ups after class any more, as he's the only one there with such a fancy staff!
