Good idea, very comfy
on March 20, 2012
I prefer noise-isolating to noise-canceling head/earphones, because I find the former to sound better. I wondered once or twice why a company hadn't produces an earphone cushion from the material found in simple foam earplugs -- the kind that slowly returns to form after being compressed. These cushions from Earphones Plus fit the bill, and I like them very much.
I easily put them on my Sony EX-series earphones. Roll the pad/stem in your fingers, place in your ear, and wait a few seconds while the foam expands. I find them to isolate sound as well or better than do silicone cushions, attract less dirt, and be more comfortable. They fit and stay in my ears very well, and I guess I have medium/small ear-holes, because I usually use the smaller-sized cushions that come with earphones.
