Just as expected. Attractive good journal made in Turkey, very close to 128 pages (256 if you count both sides of page like some do). Good Eccolo product, nice combination of portability and lots of writing space. Not refillable.

Nice for the price. The binding is such that the book is a bit difficult to keep open while writing in it; given it's smaller size, this can really make it a bit of a bear to work with.

The cover is quite beautiful - definitely the best part of the whole package.

I bought it to write notes in from meetings at work. It just seems a little classier and more professional to show up with a bound notebook rather than a pad of paper.

I gave this journal as a gift and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this small book. I would indeed like to receive one myself. The book is lined and has a very soft leather cover. It appears to be of such high quality that it will last for many years.

I was looking for a journal that was very simple, yet professional looking without crazy designs all over the place or looking like a 10 year old's diary. Specifically, I was looking for something that I could proudly leave out on a table or my work desk that would look nice and be functional. This journal pretty much nailed it.

This is a great little professional looking journal for people who enjoy writing their thoughts or day to day activities. The faux leather is soft and comfortable to hold. The paper inside is of nice stock and ivory, which is a nice plus -- ivory paper isn't known to ever fade, so your entries will last longer than a life time! The paper is lined for easy composition - I wish it was completely blank, but oh well. If you make entries daily, you can expect this journal to last about 8 months.

My only complaint with this product is that the picture is deceptive. The quill and book insignia is placed more in the center of the front cover, and it is imprinted with thick silver foil. It doesn't look bad by any means, but the picture made it look like a solid black, subtle imprint on the cover which is what I was looking for.

Overall, I rate this product 4/5. It's a great book - my only wish is that the paper inside was not lined and that the imprint on the front wasn't made of silver foil. I'm considering purchasing more of them while stock is available so I can have a nice library of them down the road.

The journal quality is great although I was a little surprised that the quill and book are actually embossed in silver against the black cover instead of black.

I love this journal it's just the right size for me and excatly what I needed for the purpose that I order it for.
