4.0 out of 5 stars Had Mine 5+ Years - Use it Many Hours Every Day
.
Have had one now for more than 5 years. About to order again - mainly due to the Amazon price.

Honestly, for the Amazon price, and the many hours of duty it's withstood, I'm very happy with it.

Pros -
1. Comfortable in a desk setting.
2. Durable. MANY hours every day for 5 years. But I'd like a new one.
3. Amazon price is, as...

3.0 out of 5 stars A Cheap Chair
It's a cheap chair. It doesn't cost much and it doesn't seem too likely to break, so it's a fair product. But be aware that the only adjustment available is height -- if you want to recline, or if you want the armrest at a different height, tough luck. It's all locked together during assembly: you attach the armrests to the seat, then attach the back to the armrests. If...

3. Amazon price is, as usual, pretty darn good.

4. Assembly is very easy.

Cons -

1. Not much recline - but if you're working I doubt you'll care.

2. Height adjustment range seems less than other chairs.

3. Arm rests are set - no adjustment. Good location for me though.

To me this and the B8106 from Boss seem identical. So maybe go for the best price available.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great buy from a good supplier, January 20, 2009
This review is from: Boss Black Fabric Mid-Back Executive Chair (Kitchen)
This is a really nice comfy well made chair from a helpful and efficient supplier. It goes together very well (needs to be assembled after delievery) and makes a pleasant addition to any home office or working environment where you need to sit at a desk for long periods of time. The padding makes the seat and the backrest support nice and soft, also nice and warm, and allows the user to enjoy sitting in it while working.

It has a height adjuster which is essential for getting the correct position for working and swivels easily to allow for any movements which need to be made while performing tasks at your desk. It's a really nice chair for a very good price and the supplier does a great job on delivering it quickly.

Bought 5 of these to make a set for my game room. They are big, comfy and seem very durable. I was worried after reading over a thousand different reviews on many different models of chairs. It seemed no one liked anything. I took a chance on these based on thier size and description. the 5 of us who play basically every saturday all like them. they are high backed and very wide based.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad Chair, September 18, 2009
By
This review is from: Boss Black Fabric Mid-Back Executive Chair (Kitchen)
We have a ton of these at my job and they wear out quick. I had to buy an additional cushion because this one wore out in 2 months of use and all that is left for cushion is a board which is really bad for your back. I started to get a lot of back problems that are associated with sitting for hours at a desk. Bad chairs for long hours, maybe a good chair for use of one person in a personal setting but in an office, these are hell.

If you have somebody else in the house, you'll want their help for assembly; I got it together by myself but doing so was annoying and awkward.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for price; Assemble with power drill, January 5, 2012

I strongly, strongly recommend the use of a basic power drill when assembling this chair. The hardware is already screwed into the components, so be sure to remove them before you begin. The fit is snug and precise. I ordered four for the collaboration area in my new office. The first two I assembled by hand, and the fit is so tight I really did a number on my hands with a manual screwdriver. The last two I assembled after grabbing my power drill, and VOILA. Much better! The height adjustment piston is snug with a tight feel, a strong lift, and a comfortable support. The cushions are comfortable and the assembly a breeze. Great product for the price. The black definitely picks up dust and particulate matter well, so a lint roller may be a desirable accessory!

The parts look cheap, and the assembly instructions are not great. Still, it was easy to assemble. The height adjustment does not work.

I was expecting a larger chair for the price, but the chair is fine and comfortable. It does seem to have cheap parts, but still this is a good deal for a quality chair under $100.

5.0 out of 5 stars comfy & nice, September 12, 2009

I just got this yesterday and was able to put it together by myself, which speaks well because I'm disabled and my hands don't work well.

It's nice and comfortable - I like it!

3.0 out of 5 stars Just OK., August 31, 2009

I bought this chair for a home computer desk. It is OK. It does the job it is supposed to do. But it did not exceed my expectations. Took a little longer to assemble than I thought it should. The package was short a screw, but the manufacturer sent one out quickly. Quality is not as good as other chairs, but it was an attrative price.
