Jonathan Latimer's work easily equals Hammett and Chandler. He tells a good story with characters that are believable and keep you interested. If you can read a book and get into the story to the point you forget you are reading - it is a good book. All of latimers work is that good, and "Black Is The Fashion for Dying" is no exception. Great story with characters you will like and some you will hate. It is a good book to purchase - Worth the time it takes to read it, and I bet you will read it more than once.
