I watched the whole series of "Black Fox" today on the Westerns Channel. This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. I can't remember in all of my life seeing a movie as good as this except for "The Rounders" with Glenn Ford and Henry Fonda. I give this movie a 5 star rating because of its morality, determenting factors of determenation and love for all mankind. If you want to see a movie that has more than just violence watch this. This movie contains extreme heart-pumping action, the love everyone has for their family and that good ol' fashioned western heart in its soul.

While to a native Texan the scenery is obviously not Texas, this is the most well-done western in years! The Indians ride like Indians...bareback. Everybody is properly shaggy and not too clean...as it was in my ancestors' days on the prairies. The horses are absolutely beautiful! The acting is really fine...Raoul Trujillo is definitely someone to always see! Totally and highly recommended...even for children. My grandkids loved it, handled the slight rape/sex scenes well (done in good taste but with reality) and the hard use of words for Blacks was realistic and brought out the true prejudice of the times. And watch the draft horses pull the wagon with the gatling gun!

This is a good movie which tells about the disaster that prejustice and hate brings. It also tells about the injustice and cruelty done against the Native Americans. It is amovie about hate, friendship, love, prejustice and much more.
