"Black Friday" shakes things up for Faderhead. Sami's concept album opens with tighter vocal tracks with an emphasis on subtle layers that build up the club hits that roar through the second half of the disc. Proof of his versatility, "Black Friday" is a great general listening album outside of the club and provides a great beat backdrop while working through your day. The club hits still pack plenty of punch, and the ballads are exactly the sort of reflective monologue that Faderhead loves to tone things down with, but there's a lot more cohesion in "Black Friday" when compared to FH1. FH2, and FH3. This is probably the broadest audience appeal album from Faderhead to date.

This and every Faderhead album is great. Creates a masterpiece about every 11 months! So many awesome albums in a short time.

This has been one of the few albums to stay on top of our playlists at home. Lots of great tracks, good subdued melodies for background music, and some punchy club hits to perk things up. Definitely a good album to put in when you've got company over and need something moody to keep people moving even if they don't usually lean toward EBM. Plus the ladies seem to love Sami's voice. :)
