Black High Density Foam Rollers - Extra Firm - 6" x 12" Half Round

My white half cylinders had crushed to the point that I didn't feel the full benefit of a calf stretch when using them. The black high density foam half cylinder that I found through Amazon has proven most satisfactory.

I bought these "high density" foam rollers for my personal training classes I do with "older" clients. Having them step from roller to roller to work on balance. I mostly put 2 together, making it easier. Within 3 days, the black particles that make up the rollers were crumbling!! They were already falling apart, and the my 1st week of use with these "high density" rollers was a disappointment. I have some white ones, more foam-like, have last nearly 2 years, with this type of activity. I will try to return, and would NOT recommend these, even though my use is a bit different, the quality is definitely not there.

This product was recommended by my PT. I am able to use it at my home and able to strengthen my back.

These rollers do what they advertise, and indeed they are extra firm. I was slightly disappointed when I opened the package and found that these are not made of polyurethane foam like I had hoped. Instead, they are made from expanded bead polystyrene in a cylindrical shape. This is the same type of foam you find in electronics packaging (a.k.a. "styrafoam"), but this product is black instead of the typical white. The good news is that the half round roller, which is cut to shape rather than molded that way, seems to be holding up fine without breaking apart as most expanded polystyrene foams do.

The product is good, but I do think it could be cheaper for what it is.

roller price was good. shipping was a bit high. Don't know if I would re-order frm this company due to this.

It is a good product. It is a little high price compared to others but I wanted the black color.
