This video is excellent in its portrayal of America's 'race relations problem'.

The only sad note about this video, is that it has been edited down from the Original that aired on CBS in the late-60's.

CBS aired a 3-night special with Mr. Cosby, so the original series as shown on television would have been about 2 hours and 15 minutes total footage, and this has been edited down.

It does cover the general idea though quite well, but for the complete full impact, I wish that they had produced the full-length version.

I have no idea why it would be necessary to 'edit-down' some of the most important aspects of American Society and possible solutions.

HUGS AND KISSES TO MR. BILL COSBY! I'M SURPRISED AS A 35 YEAR OLD WOMAN I HAVEN'T SEEN THIS FILM BEFORE LAST NIGHT. THE LACK OF PROMOTING IT ON T.V. IS ANOTHER WAY TO KEEP "CHAINS" ON PEOPLE OF COLOR. As an American who is Black this film really touched cords in me that I wasn't aware were there. As a woman I really felt for my brothers. My husband, who is also Black, educated, and employed got angry watching this film because white america's perception of Black people, men more specifically, has been degrading and negative for hundreds of years. The fact of the matter is that little has changed over the years...as a non-violent sister who is definitely ready for change I welcome some input as to how we as Americans (meaning white, black, red, yellow) can make a difference as a body in our current state of reality.

Although its honest history is like a thorn in ones behind I believe all kids need to llook at this tape and try to make race relation between all races positive. despite what anyone says Bill Cosby cares about his culture as been seen in our news. Big congrats to bill!..oh youll enjoy the youthful picture of bill on the cover!!
