Unusual for Italy, But a Great Jazz Pianist,
By
This review is from: Black Inside (Audio CD)
I came across this album by accident, but couldn't believe my ears - an Italian post-bop Pianist. Antonio Farao swings as hard as McCoy Tyner in his earlier days! If you appreciate, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Danilo Perez, or even Fred Hersch, you will like this album. Ira Coleman (bass) and Jeff "Tain" Watts (drums) add to the enjoyment and credibility of this work.
