I bought this item with a gift certificate from my baby shower. We had it for about a month when the welding that holds the base to the chair broke. It is going to cost us more to have it fixed then it would to buy a whole new chair. Keep in mind that me and my husband are not large people and there is no reason for this to have happened. I do not recommend this product; although it was very comfy and looked nice in our home...It is just not worth it!!!

I don't understand why some person said this chair have bad quality, I bought one and is very confortable, my wife use this chair every day and she is very happy, the rocker has one year and is perfectly, I recommend this rocker.

I have one of these chairs it is very comfortable and a good value for the price, but mine broke also at the same place as the others. It is only tack wielded at the top and bottom of the post. So I took the base and had a wielding shop wield a solid piece thru the base. With a solid wield all the way around the top and bottom. No more problems and only cost 12.00 dollars. I would buy another and do the mods right any. It is a comfortable chair

I never received items because the order was cancelled three times. Once through Amazon amazon and twice through Summerset gliders.

I had this glider throughout the pregnancies and births of both my children. It was comfortable, nothing broke, and it was a decent match for our black leather living room furniture. We enjoyed it enough that this year we passed it along to our favorite in-laws for use when they have a child. At the time, it offered an inexpensive alternative to more expensive wooden rockers, as a rocker was a piece of furniture I knew we wouldn't keep long term.

I had the same problem as reviewer K. Dejong below; the weld on two of these chairs broke after a few months of use. The chair is manufactured in China, and there is no fix or replaceable part for this problem. Unless you only need a theatre prop, DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR!
