DON'T HATE ON THE 5 STAR BOOK, September 2, 2001
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Black Like Me (Cliffs Notes) (Paperback)
This book was the best book that I have ever read. It would open up the hearts of all the white people who don't like black people. This man put his life on the line. He turned his self black knowing about all of the evil things that can happen to him while he was traveling through the deep South. I know ain't no white person would wanna turn themselves black just to see what it would be like. I am glad that I picked up this book. This book made tears come to my eyes. It should be in the school librarys ....

Notes don't simplify the book, February 11, 2009
This review is from: Black Like Me (Cliffs Notes) (Paperback)
This is the first Cliffs Notes product that I've seen that doesn't actually simplify or summarize the book. I thought that was the purpose of Cliffs Notes!

K.D THOUGHT OF A GREAT BOOK, January 31, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Black Like Me (Cliffs Notes) (Paperback)
I REALY LIKE THIS BOOK. IT WAS BASED ON A MAN WHO WANTED TO KNOW WHAT RACISM WAS LIKE. AND HE WAS FACED WITH THE DESISSION OF BECOMING A BLACK MAN. AFTER HE CAM E TO A CONCIOUS DISCION ABOUT IT, HE DARKENED HIS SKIN AND MOVED TO AT THAT TIME A VERY SEGRAGATED PLACE. HE FACED LITTLE DISRIMANTION AND WAS ABLE TO COME OUT OF IT, WITH A FEW IDENTITY CHANGES.
