This CD is a compilation of a few CDs and LPs recorded with Decca. If you don't know the music of Mr. Black, begin with this and you will love and start to collect all his CDs. Vocalion, specially, has reissue the music that S.B. recorded in the golden years of London/Decca (I'm speaking about late 50's, 60's and 70's)

Great music and good quality recordings. The music is light and breezy with enough dark drama to keep the selections interesting and refreshing. The album has the flavor of music from the late 50s and early 60s. Stanley Black does a great job of orchestration.

This compilation of Stanley Blacks' music is truly a great album to have.I enjoy the orchestrations and piano playing as well as the arrangements. This is a must have.
