Editorial Reviews

The most anticipated new group of the decade, La Coka Nostra, breathes new life into an industry stale and dying. With their guerilla style marketing and merchandising and raw forceful music, LCN provides an outlet for fans who have been deprived of hardcore Hip Hop music. With the release of "Black Metal", La Coka Nostra's Everlast, Slaine, Big Left and DJ Lethal appear throughout the release, but the focus is on fellow crew member and former Non Phixion front man ILL BILL. While awaiting his own sophomore solo release "The Hour Of Reprisal", BILL is represented on every track on "Black Metal" along with guest appearances by Styles P of D-Block, O.C., Jeru The Damaja, Sick Jacken of Psycho Realm, Q-Unique, Killah Priest, Sabac Red (Non Phixion) and Brooklyn Academy. With production from ILL BILL himself, DJ Lethal, MoSS, Sicknature, Khrome, Will Fulton, DJ FM, Q-Unique and Dug Infinite, this album is a must have for all the La Coka heads representing hardcore Hip Hop in 2007.

5.0 out of 5 stars HipHip Destruction, July 12, 2009
This review is from: Black Metal (Audio CD)
The radio does suck monkey balls, but if this music was played on it, id love every minute of it, but unfortuantley ill bill's music contains real life issues like 13yr old kids shooting up,high violance and gun crime ,we can't have that out in the open now can we? No. So bling bling it is big cars and fake personalitys thats what the world will hear in todays hip hop music.
But if your like me,and don't get sucked in by all that bollocks, you can enjoy lyrical destruction, raw talent and some of the best producing in hip hop for years. ILL BILL THE CULT LEADER AKA BILLY IDOL!!!!. Buy this album now you will never regret it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Most Hardcore Rap You'll Find, August 17, 2007
This review is from: Black Metal (Audio CD)
Ill Bill makes rappers like 50 cent and the Game look like sata clause and the easter bunny. His beats are hard and his lyrics are straight up violent. This album will definitely get you pumped up and you may feel like fighting somebody. Use at your own risk.
