Overall, I am extremely pleased with this purchase. Considering the relatively low price (I paid $79.00), the quality is better than what I expected.

Pro:
- Very comfortable. The seat back gives good lumbar support and the seat overall gives you a comfortable sitting position once adjusted for height.
- Quality of construction is very good, particularly considering the price point. This should be a fairly durable chair.
- Assembly instructions were adequate and easy enough to follow. The chair was well packaged and included a hex-key tool for assembly, which is the only tool required.

Con:
- The only downside I found is with assembly, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. As some other reviewers have noted, assembly was more challenging than I would prefer. I found the 6 holes on the bottom of the seat did not align with the seat back mounting holes. This required a fair amount of tugging to bend the seat into position to allow the holes to align and insert the first couple of bolts. That aspect is particularly troublesome if you are doing this by yourself (a second set of hands, while not essential would be helpful). Once that was done though, the remainder of the assembly was very easy.

Again, the quality and comfort is better than I expected for $79. The assembly, while somewhat challenging, was not bad enough to warrant a negative review and the end result was definitely worth the effort. I'd recommend this chair for use in a home office or use by a student. There are better chairs out there but not at this price. It is a lot of bang for the buck.

Pros: Once assembled, it's comfortable. Tilts back.

Cons: This was possibly the worst item I've ever had to assemble. It was more of a pain in the rear than changing brakes on a car. The main problem was that the back piece didn't line up with the base/seat. There are six holes that are supposed to line up with holes on the seat. With a decent amount of bending the plastic back, I could see the screw holes in the seat through the holes in the back. Unfortunately the bending made it so the holes didn't make a straight line. The bolts wouldn't screw in. I ended up having to re-drill the holes to make the seat work.

Other: It would've been nice if the armrests adjusted in height, but that can't be expected for a $79 chair. No way was this chair ever $249.

I was really excited for this chair but had to return it the next day due to a manufacturing defect. The back rest wouldn't attach to the bottom of the chair as the holes for the screws would not align properly.

Firstly, I will say that after getting this product assembled and the kinks worked out, it looks nice and is comfortable. However, getting it assembled and working was just awful.

I have purchased many, many "RTA" furniture pieces throughout the years, and you do generally expect to have minor issues. But this product takes the cake for being the absolute worst thing to put together ever! The instructions are fine and easy to follow. It's just a simple diagram that shows you where to put the parts and the screws...easy enough.

The problem starts if you get a chair like mine and the six holes mentioned by another reviewer are drilled too far apart! It took two adults about an hour of pushing in on the chair seat while simultaneously pulling the plastic side out to "stretch" it into place so it would somewhat line up. Time will only tell, but I am worried about that plastic cracking in the future because of the amount of tension that has to be on it at this point.

After getting the initial six screws in, it went very smoothly until the very end. Got it put together, sat in it, tried to play with the adjustable height, and discovered that the lever that controls the adjustments was hitting NOTHING! Took it apart, and appeared the hydraulic lift part was too short, and therefore, the switch that is supposed to be moved with the lever was too far down to be touched by the lever. At this point I got really frustrated with the whole thing and my boyfriend took over. He got a little ticked and tapped the hydraulic lift with a hammer, and all of a sudden, it popped up about 8 to 10 inches. It had been STUCK. While I am really, really glad that it was just stuck and not too short, I am still shocked at what a piece of junk this thing is!
